Professionalism and Respect in the Workplace

Description:

Respect is one of the greatest needs in the workplace. If you do not respect someone or someone does not respect you, your working relationship is constrained. Respect hinges a great deal on effective communication. In addition, there are social implications in behaving respectfully or not as well as legal pitfalls in not showing respect. You will learn the differences between unlawful and just plain inappropriate behavior in the workplace and create an appreciation for differences. You will obtain skills to deal more effectively with people who are different from us as well as coping skills when unacceptable behavior is perceived.
